First shoot on FILM...

After shooting with the super talented couple behind Christian Ward Photography in January 2012 I knew I HAD to shoot with them again. We tried pretty much all year to get together but with clashing schedules and poor weather it never happened! I loved the images we got in 2012 and Christians use of light is always amazing, the only draw back to our first shoot was that it was FREEZING. So this year when did we decide to shoot? Oh yes, February! There was still snow on the ground and although it was as cold as 2012 it was still bitter. Despite this we soldiered on  but unlike our first shoot, which was shot using digital, Christian used film. I've never shot with film before so to say I was nervous is a bit of an understatement! As always it was a pleasure to work with them both for this relaxed shoot, I did my own hair and makeup and threw on a few casual cardigans and scarfs I can't wait to shoot with them again, maybe next time we'll hold out for some warmer weather!

London 2012 OCC: After Party...

After we performed we were told we had to leave site immediately .. but I mean come on! How many times do you get to see back stage at one of the biggest shows on earth? There was no way I was leaving that stadium...

After hiding behind our props everytime someone official walked past we became a little brazen and decided to sit on the boxes and watch, if we weren't in the way or loud we were not trouble right? Besides we were still in costume.

We managed to pick the perfect Vom (gate) to watch from. It was where all the acts came on stage to perform. The supermodels in their billboard vans, the spice girls on their taxis, we saw it all. It was also the route the athletes had to leave by to go back to the village. The best part of the whole day had to be the fireworks. If you thought they looked impressive on TV you should have been in that stadium!
